Operator Updates – Ongoing Situation
Initial Announcement: Wednesday, 24 December 2025 – 22:00 GMT
GoBus South Coast has withdrawn from GoBus with immediate effect. If a replacement operator is not secured, this will affect Island’s Buses services.
Operational Update: Wednesday, 24 December 2025 – 22:45 GMT
Operations Manager Charlotte has confirmed that all Christmas Day services will operate as scheduled.
Update: Thursday, 25 December 2025 – 20:00 GMT
Boxing Day services will run as normal. Some vehicle assignments have been adjusted to improve reliability across the fleet.
- Christmas Day services: Ran as planned
- Boxing Day services: Running as planned with adjusted vehicle assignments
- All other routes: Under review until a replacement operator is confirmed
